Outsource Creative
The Beginning
Hi, I’m Aimee
In 2020 my husband and I were running a growing and thriving wellness studio, home to just under 25 employees of fitness professionals when the COVID19 Pandemic struck.
Included in the painful layoffs, we could no longer afford to pay for the digital marketing services we had previously contracted out – professional photography, videography, web design, social media management, google paid advertising, and more.
Fortunately, we were ahead of the Curve, already having built a complete digital exercise library, and online programs, we were able to pivot our business to a virtual and online-only company while making ends meet to pay healthcare, salaries, and retirement for our employees during the mandated 3-month closure of Vermont in-person fitness centers.
My husband, Lucas, has always had a passion for tech, innovation, and visual storytelling – although in those days, it was a hobby reserved for snowboarding footage, funny videos (they weren’t called reels back then 😉) , and sales automation.
He absorbed the role of all our digital marketing vendors, and in an effort to support a few of our good friends and fellow business owners, offered to help them with their digital facelift (web rebuilds) and social media management.
Khanh (Perfect Nails By Thu), Nate (The Malley Group, VT’s top KW Real Estate team), Matt (Pinnacle Properties), and Joanne (Longtrail Physical Therapy) all saw the work ethic and reliabilty my husband brings, and embraced his partnership.
Shortly after, a couple of other growth-minded friends and business owners; Joe (JG Coaching), Stephen (Snowbeast Performance), and Shelley (Far Post Soccer Club), rounded out Outsource Creative’s founding clients.
If you are or know these humans, you’re one of the lucky ones.

The Next Chapter
Grit is one hell of an attribute
As a business owner first, Lucas prioritized creating appealing websites, photo & video content, paid google and Facebook campaigns, newsletters, and sales funnels to help our fellow Vermont business owners weather the uncertainty of the healthcare crisis.
After his injury in the Summer of 2021, I picked up a camera, and eager to help inspire and motivate my community as well as itching to incorporate writing into my daily work, joined him.
With the giant uptick of creators and other driven individuals jumping on the trend to use Digital Marketing to connect, collaborate, and build an audience with social media, we couldn’t be complacent.
My husband’s innate artistic ability and sharp visual acuity helped our clients stand out with professional photos, videos, and graphic design assets.
Although I was always complimented for being a strong writer, now I saw my words make a difference and create ripple effects throughout my community with empowering branding, honest, well-researched copywriting, and content-first SEO (now called, white-hat SEO, this is the ONLY practice our marketing agency supports).

Fast Forward To 2022
Officially Official
In June of 2022, our former employee, strength coach, and overall good human, Kevin, bought our gym, Concept Move from us. Relieved that the gym was in the right hands (check it out for yourself, it’s awesome and now named Soma VT), we turned our attention full-time to Outsource Creative, meeting new clients, employees, vendors, and community partners.

Pivot Like You Mean It
Change Is Inevitable
This was great. For maybe a month…😂😅
In 2022, we felt and saw the frustration and demise of Instagram, as the platform became an ad-centric shell of its former self with constantly changing algorithms to limit organic reach and incentivize paid advertising.
Seeing the 2023 economic recession looming, Lucas and I made a choice. Although he knew the amount of work I was about to ask him to do, he trusted my research and expertise, and we changed the deliverables of our scope for all clients.
With Lucas underwater as his workload quadrupled, adding long-form video content in place of previously quoted photo-only work, we were surprised and delighted by the addition of our now-current Art Director, Sierra Saia.
Sierra’s background in high fashion, graphic design, analytical testing, and editorial product marketing was matched only by her work ethic and flexible mind. She saw the behind-the-scenes challenges of running a small business and jumped in to help us create and execute this transition.
We cut down the time invested on Instagram, Facebook, and Linked In. We extended photoshoots, added some higher-quality wireless mics, drank a lot of coffee, and asked our clients to hold their breath and trust us.
We did for our clients what we would have wanted to be done for us back when the Pandemic hit.
We pivoted.

Diversify Your Portfolio
Highly Qualified Creators
We diversified our clients’ digital portfolios by creating branded Youtube channels, adding new blog pages ( writing the corresponding blogs 😅), updating Google Business Profiles, and building a library of long-enough form videos, to help our clients’s digital brands thrive again.
Now, as we are slowly expanding, we partner with fellow friends and elite creatives who share our values of quality standards, straightforward deliverables and pricing, and meeting the deadlines your marketing campaigns need to be successful.
Recognize any of them?

Quality Over Quantity
Taking the BS out of your marketing budget
As a team, we’ve made the commitment to each other and to ourselves to produce quality over quantity.
We are committed to being responsive to our clients’ marketing needs and refuse to waste our time or your budget on marketing strategy and content production that won’t make you money.
We are committed to taking the bullshit out of your marketing budget, eliminating the lack of deliverables, HR drama, hiring, firing, outsourcing, and miscommunications that occur when small to medium size businesses make internal marketing hires that leave them still needing to pay for all content creation and their marketing campaign’s success vulnerable to the tenure of that specific employee.
We are committed to helping good businesses connect with cool creatives and avoid all the hassles and uncertainty of navigating the ever-changing (and not always transparent) marketing industry.
Most importantly though, we’re committed to liking our clients. If we like you, there’s a good chance you like us too … Some call this Affinity Marketing.
Why is this Affinity Marketing so important?
We don’t know what the digital landscape will bring. We know Chat GPT, AI copywriting, and many other innovations will change the face of the digital world. Probably sooner than anybody really expects.
We can’t guarantee we won’t ask our clients to pivot again, but when there is genuine goodwill between us and our fellow business leaders, our partners in building back American business, we build the trust we need to respond to whatever the world may bring.
If you are a growth-minded business leader looking for a marketing agency that truly has your back, outsource your creative marketing to us and get the peace of mind you need for your business’s digital self-image.
Not sure if you need the full scope of marketing work but looking for reassurance that you’re working with a business-minded and top-tier content production agency?
We love photography and videography and offer a la carte services to support businesses and individuals alike.
